Famotidine tested against COVID-19

Famotidine is being tested in a clinical trial for efficacy against COVID-19 based on review of early experiences of recovery in patients with heartburn put on famotidine compared to others as well as a high throughput screening for activity on the coronavirus's papainlike protease enzyme.
